I am a psychotherapist providing therapy in both English and Farsi. I work with individuals, couples, and families, with a particular interest in multicultural identity, acculturation, relationships, and the ways our early experiences shape how we understand ourselves and connect with others.
I received my master’s degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and went on to train at The Maple Counseling Center, where I developed a strong foundation in psychodynamic psychotherapy with individuals and couples. I have also worked with Teen Line, a teen crisis hotline supporting adolescents through a wide range of concerns, including suicidal thoughts, substance use, child abuse, eating disorders, and other urgent emotional struggles.
I later completed the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program at the Psychoanalytic Center of California, and I am currently in psychoanalytic training. I continue to pursue workshops and advanced training in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic work so that I can deepen and expand the care I provide.
My approach is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you can feel heard and understood while we work together to explore patterns, relationships, emotions, and experiences that may be affecting your life. I offer phone consultations as well as video sessions for those who need flexible access to therapy.
